Because I can't be the ONLY blogger who doesn't do a post like this...
I've decided to do an ask me anything post! Yes, I am finally jumping on the bandwagon. I figure that since I haven't been particularly active on here as of late, a post like this might be good for reintroducing myself to this delightful little blogging community? If that makes sense! ;P
Anyways, I really enjoy reading posts like these, and I think it'll be fun to do a Q&A post myself! So if there is anything at all that you would like to ask me, just comment below, and I will try to answer them as best I can! (Although I'm pretty sure you already know how an AMA post works by now, so it isn't as if I really need to explain!)
I can't wait to see what questions y'all come up with!

P.S. I'm in the middle of editing my photos from New York City, so be on the lookout for a post about those soon!
P.P.S. I'm currently reading Persuasion for the first time--in fact, I'm on the last chapter right now--and OH MY GOODNESS, you guys!!! It is AMAZING! Seriously, reading it has kept me up far too late the past couple of nights because I just couldn't put it down! I got to the part last night where Anne was reading Captain Wentworth's letter, and I just had a huge smile on my face the whole time. Maybe I should do a post about my thoughts on it soon? :)
FIRST OF ALL YESSSS PERSUASION IS AMAZING!!!!! It's super super sweet and THE LETTER!!!! Yes!!!
ReplyDeleteAnd I would absolutely LOVE a Persuasion post, no pressure though. :D
Okay. Questions.
How many siblings do you have?
What's your favourite season AND why?
What are some of your "hidden talents", the ones that people don't really notice but you have a gift for?
In your opinion, who is the handsomest period drama hero? (Ha. Ha. Easy, right?)
That's all I can think of right now! Can't wait for the answers!
I just finished reading it last night and it was SOOOO wonderful and sweet!!! The letter was most definitely my favorite part. I will certainly try and do a post about it soon! I could use an excuse to rave about it for a bit... ;)
DeleteThanks so much for your questions, Rae! I can't wait to answer them. That last one, though...oh, you're killing me! Haha. :P
I just finished Persuasion last month! Isn't it great!? Another Jane Austen classic to go on my wishlist.
ReplyDeleteWhat is your all-time favorite Jane Austen book chapter?
Yes, Persuasion was an absolutely amazing read! I'm definitely going to have to add a pretty copy of it to my bookshelf soon. ;)
DeleteI love your question! It's so fun and creative.
Ooh, how fun! Don't worry, I will have some questions for you...I just need to think about it for a bit. I'll be back!
ReplyDeleteP.S. I would certainly be interested in a review of Persuasion. It has been a while since I read that one, but it is a good book. Do share your thoughts with us!:)
- What's your favorite place in Disney World?
Delete- Who is your fashion icon?
- What's your favorite movie of all time?
- What is your greatest strength?
- Are you more of a country girl or city girl?
- Have you read all of Jane Austen's novels yet? Which is your favorite?
I'm definitely going to try and put together a post about my thoughts on Persuasion soon! I absolutely loved it and can't wait to discuss it on here. :)
DeleteOoh, those are all such fun questions! I can't wait to answer them.
Thanks for your comment, Elanor! :)
Persuasion, Mansfield Park, and Lady Susan are the only works of Jane Austen that I haven't read. I have even read the two she didn't finish! I have seen the 2007 Persuasion, and it was okay, but not my favorite movie ever. But, the bookis always better so I should read it!! I would love to hear your thoughts on it!
ReplyDeleteQuestions:
What is your favorite animal?
What is your favorite song?
What song do you have stuck in your head right now?
What is your favorite (Not Jane Austen) movie?
Drawing or Writing?
Favorite Anne of Green Gables book?
Favorite Bible verse?
That's all I can think of for now! Talk to you later! :)
Wow, you are definitely ahead of me then when it comes to Jane Austen's novels! I have read all of her major novels except for Mansfield Park (which I am reading right now), but all of her minor works such as Lady Susan are still on my to-read list! And I definitely recommend reading Persuasion! It was amazing, and I will certainly try and do a post all about it soon. :)
DeleteThanks so much for your questions, MovieCritic! I can't wait to answer them. :)
